Indiana State Police report that a volunteer firefighter was killed at the scene of a crash Friday night after being run over by another responding firefighter who police arrested for operating while intoxicated.

West Virginia: Attorney Yasmine Ghantous charged with DUI after mowing down firefighter as she attempted to drive around fire scene
The driver of the vehicle, Yasmine Rosette Ghantous of Morgantown was charged with DUI with Injury in this crash. Ghantous was processed and taken to Mon County Detention Faculty awaiting arraignment.
Alaska: EMT and wood carver Wagner Repa Wongittilin dead after DUI driver Adrienne Michels wiped him out and fled the scene
Court documents show Wongittilin was walking with his son and nephew along 5th Avenue and Bering Street around 1 a.m. Saturday. That’s when police say the son and nephew heard a “boom” as Wongtillin was hit by the Ford Explorer SUV Michels driven by Michels.
