Florida: Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott reports DUI arrests for Dec. 14, 2014

Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and to others who share the road. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office has launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to public safety in our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence during the past week.

REDONDO BEACH, CALIF. — A woman who police have charged with driving while under the influence of drugs ran her vehicle into a crowd of people leaving a Christmas concert program at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach, California and killed three persons and left another eleven persons injured.

Redondo Beach California Police Sgt. Shawn Freeman reports that on December 17, 2014 at about 8:00 PM, Redondo Beach Police Department and Fire Department responded to the intersection of Vincent Street and Pacific Coast Highway regarding a traffic collision between a vehicle and several pedestrians.

California: Harley driver killed passenger in crash; DUI listed as factor; Christmas DUI patrols round up boozing drivers – According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, on Saturday, December 20, 2014, at 12:57 AM, officers from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to a fatal traffic collision at the intersection of State Street and Seventh Street in San Jacinto.

The initial investigation indicated a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling behind a Honda Civic, northbound on State Street.

The Harley Davidson collided into the rear of the Honda, causing the motorcycle rider and passenger to be ejected from the motorcycle.

California: Kory Charleton the CHARLATAN COP busted for DUI and impersonating an officer

Once the Detective was behind the Crown Victoria, the pedestrian suddenly jumped in the passenger seat of the Crown Victoria and the vehicle drove away. The Highland Detective initiated a traffic stop on the Crown Victoria and contacted the driver.

The driver was identified as career criminal, Kory Charleton from Highland. Charlton was found to be driving under the influence of drugs and was arrested. He is also on Felony Probation for Grand Theft Auto. During a search of the Crown Victoria, investigators located a police scanner, replica police badge, and burglary tools. The Crown Victoria was also equipped with illegal emergency lights and a siren.
