Delaware: State Police Report Cody Hopkins Dead; Speed and Alcohol Factors in Crash

Cody S. Hopkins, 24, was operating a 2006 Dodge Ram and was traveling in a northbound direction on Canterbury Road just south of Blue Jay Lane. As Hopkins attempted to negotiate a curve in the roadway, his vehicle’s right side tires traveled off of the east edge of the roadway.

Delaware: State Police Say Michael Burns was high-balling and DUI when he crashed into another vehicle

Michael Burns, who was not properly restrained at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene. Natasha Sagapolutele, who was properly restrained at the time of the crash, was treated at the scene by New Castle County Paramedics.

Delaware: State Police report DUI on ATV led to DOA

The Delaware Division of Forensic Science was contacted and responded to the scene in order to remove the victim. An autopsy will be conducted in an attempt to determine the cause and manner of death.
