Maryland: PG Police arrest Jacky Luangraj for DUI hit-and-run death of Janelle Marie Oni in College Park

On July 5, 2014, at about 3:00 am, patrol officers were called to the 7300 block of Baltimore Avenue for the report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. When they arrived, they found Oni in the roadway with critical injuries. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation suggests Luangraj was heading northbound on Baltimore Avenue when he struck Oni as she tried to cross the street. Luangraj did not stay on the scene.
