New York: Lockport City Police Lt. Adam R. Piedmont was pie-eyed DWI in wreck; refused to blow

The responding sheriff’s deputy reported Piedmont exhibited signs of alcohol consumption and refused to submit to a breath test. Piedmont told the deputy that he struck a parked vehicle while checking his cell phone for a message, according to the arrest report.

Piedmont was taken into custody without incident. In addition to DWI, he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while utilizing a mobile device and refusal to submit to a breath test

Maryland: Somerset County Sheriff Robert N. Jones reports DUI / DWI 2014 arrests; court actions as Oct. 27, 2014

Paige Edward Conquest of Princess Anne, arrested 6-13-14 for driving under the influence of alcohol, and driving while impaired by alcohol. Conquest was released on signature pending court actions. Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle that was parked in the parking area of Payne’s Carpets, Princess Anne with the engine running and headlights on. Deputies found Conquest fast asleep setting in the driver’s seat. Appearing in Somerset County District Court on Sept. 4, 2014, Conquest entered a guilty plea and received a plea deal from States Attorney Daniel W. Powell of a verdict of probation before judgment with a fine of $250, no jail time and supervised probation.

Missouri: Highway Patrol charged Michael W. Ward with DWI; Greene County Sheriff snares 11 DUI arrests in checkpoint

Michael W. Ward with DWI – The checkpoint began shortly after 10:00 pm and concluded at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. A total of 1347 cars were checked; the following arrests were made and tickets were issued for violations:

19 – Tickets for Driving While License Revoked or Suspended
