Rhode Island: State Police report DUI arrests for April 4, 2015; Carol Salgado DUI with 2 kids in car

Salgado’s five and three year old sons were in the rear seat and were improperly restrained. Salgado failed a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests at the scene. She was placed under arrest and transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where she refused to submit to a Breath Test.

New York: Sheriff adds wanted DWI killer Karena Hinton to most wanted list; Jamesville Principal busted for DWI with kids in car

Karena Hinton, 43, is number 7 spot on the list. Hinton, who is a repeat DWI offender, has a long history of drunk driving, which includes a manslaughter conviction for killing her boyfriend in a DWI crash in Oswego County in 2002. Since she was released from prison in 2006, she has been charged with DWI at least twice since. Hinton is known to work as a painter and has been recently seen in Oswego County. She has ties to the St Regis reservation, both US and Canadian sides however, her actual whereabouts is unknown.

Maryland: school bus driver Pam Willie busted for DUI on way to pick up kids for field trip; sweet deals by Baltimore States Attorney kept on the road

Troopers found Willie was the driver and only occupant on the bus. They immediately observed indications the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation led to her arrest for DUI. Troopers found four empty, full and partially full containers of beer and liquor on the bus.

Mississippi: Edward Sullivan Receives 50 Year Sentence for DUI Death of a Child

Guest stated, “Sullivan was operating his vehicle at a time that his blood alcohol content was two to three times over the legal limit. Sullivan’s decision to drink and drive resulted in the death of a 10-year-old child. This case highlights the importance in keeping those that would consume alcohol from getting behind the wheel of a car.”
