When observing the cracked windshield, it was noted that there was biological matter and chewing gum inside the shatters of the windshield. The victim’s watch band was lodged underneath the driver’s side windshield wiper.

Knox County – Indiana State Police conducted a saturation patrol last night and early this morning targeting dangerous and impaired drivers in Knox County.

Nelson Aviles Quintana, 50, of P O Box 5113, Salisbury, Md., was charged with DUI by Maryland Trooper Lane on June 4, 2017, at 9:37 pm while operating southbound on US 13 at Carroll Street on a bike.

Police said the driver, Chris M. Dent, 37, of Upper Marlboro, who struck the officer was intoxicated and taken into custody. He was not injured in the crash and has been initially charged with driving under the influence.
