District Attorney Daryl Bailey was at the scene of the crash and called it a DUI Homicide investigation.

“A family was on their way to celebrate Thanksgiving and now they are planning a funeral,” Bailey said. “Please be careful on the roadway and never allow someone to drive drunk. It’s good for people to have fun with family and friends, but remember, if you have anything to drink, you shouldn’t drive. Driving drunk is a crime.
