California: Indian Wells Police report DUI arrest; Leonard Hayes didn’t run the red light, he ran into the red light

The driver of the vehicle, Leonard Hayes, 39 years old, residing in Thousand Palms, failed to maintain a straight course of travel as he drove south on Washington Street. Hayes’ vehicle collided with a traffic control light located in the northwest corner of the intersection of Washington Street and Miles Avenue.

Virginia: DWI driver Alfred Jorge Guillen Escobari charged after plowing into Fairfax cops with DWI driver John B. St. Pierre

Both officers were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The subject driver of the initial traffic stop, John B. St. Pierre, 44, of Vienna, was charged with DWI. Escobari, 23, of Sterling, was also charged with DWI. Neither arrestee required medical attention.

Thanks to the media coverage of this crash, and our social media fans, we were able to identify two witnesses who came forward to help us piece together the timeline of William Gainey’s actions leading up to this horrific event. Furthermore, thanks to the computer equipment in his truck, we know that he accelerated from 73 to 80 MPH just before impact, and made no attempt to brake.
