However, Hagelstein began to run across the roadway and was struck by the vehicle. Craig Austin Livingston, 32, Loris was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday on charges of felony driving under the influence with great bodily injury, felony DUI with death results and open container of beer/wine in a vehicle, according to jail records.
