The driver of the boat is 22 year old Edward Ramirez from California and he has been charged with Boating under the influence of Intoxicants. Ramirez had a blood alcohol content one and a half times the legal limit. The other two subjects that were arrested are 23 year old Ivan Barajas and 26 year old Ernesto Barajas who are both from California. They have been charged with Disorderly Conduct

Oregon: State Police report that Randall & Barbara Starr were hit head-on by DUI-drugged driver Scott Cook
According to Trooper Tiffany Lynn, on April 24, 2015 at 9:48am a two vehicle serious injury crash occurred on SR HWY 226 near Milepost (MP) 8.5 (near Scio). Unit #1, a 1995 Honda Accord, driven by Scott Cook was eastbound on Hwy 226 when it crossed the centerline and collided with Unit #2 a westbound Itasca Sunriver Motorhome. Unit #2 was driven by Mr. Randall Starr (age 76) with his wife, Mrs. Barbara Starr (age 77) as the right front passenger. Both Mr. Cook and the Starrs are residents of Scio.

04/20/2015 — Oregon State Police report that Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into Saturday nights fatal traffic crash at 9237 Holland Loop Road near Cave Junction in Josephine County that ended with one man dead and another facing DUI homicide charges. Police report that after arresting the driver, he had to be subdued with a Taser.
