On November 23, 2014, Bath State Police arrested Adam Hosmer, 26, of Avoca, for Felony Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .14% and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd. Hughes was traveling on State Route 415 in the Town of Avoca when he drifted off the shoulder striking a support pole and guide wire. On Monday, January 20, 2014, at 10:54 p.m., Officer Evan Androcy conducted a traffic stop on Route 9 South near Station Drive, in Forked River.
