An ad on Craigslist may have started a reckless chain of events leading to the death of an innocent woman. A car theft led to a police pursuit and a deadly crash.

The male driver of the Chevrolet pickup, Alfredo Vazquez ­Orozco, 30, of Las Vegas, had a minor injury and was transported to UMC Trauma and displayed signs of impairment.

Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated a Honda Accord was traveling west on Carey Avenue when it failed to stop for a posted stop sign at the intersection with Mt Hood Street.
