California: Jason Loudenslager charged with DUI after hit, run and beat feet
05/29/2014 — According to Sgt. Larry Sherman of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, at about 8:23 a.m. Deputies responded to a Hit and Run traffic collision in the parking lot at Washington Street and Country Club Drive in Palm Desert. A car had collided into another vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle’s driver and passenger fled the area on foot.
Deputies located the driver, Jason Loudenslager, and passenger, Apolonio Veliz, a short distance away. Loudenslager, age 23 of Coachella, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUI, hit and run, possession of a short barreled rifle, and possession of a high capacity magazine.

Oregon: State Police, Yamill County Sheriff, local Police Departments roamed the roads over Memorial Day; 3 DUI arrests
Over the Memorial Day weekend, the Newberg-Dundee Police Department, McMinnville Field Office of the Oregon State Police, Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office, Amity Police Department and Yamhill Police Department are all joined forces to detect and arrest impaired drivers.
The combined effort led to three (3) persons being arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Fortunately, there was no fatal or serious injury crashes reported over the weekend, although law enforcement responded to approximately 7 minor crashes throughout the county. One of those crashes involved an impaired driver.

Apparently the Broward County Courthouse is the place to be if you want to get riggety riggety wrecked, son! This morning was Judge Lynn Rosenthal’s turn to see how the other half of her criminal courtroom lives when she gets booked at the Broward Main Jail. There are scant details of the accident so far, but everyone agrees that a sheriff’s vehicle was hit, and they’re blaming Judge Rosenthal, a Governor Scott appointee facing an electoral challenge this year from the happiest person in Florida today.
