“Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”

The world has lost a beautiful, magnificent soul. Tragically, Shannon Lafferty, beloved mother, daughter, sister, partner, and friend lost her life Friday evening after enjoying a Christmas tree lighting celebration with her beautiful family. A drunk driver struck their car as Saheem was driving with Shannon and Audri in the back.

Those closest to Shannon have lost their heart. Shannon was a shining light; she defined love and devotion. While there are no words, no sentiments that can ease the pain of this tremendous loss, our thoughts, prayers and support can envelope those closest to Shannon, particularly Saheem and sweetest Audrianna who at age 4, just lost her best friend.

Shannon lived for her family. To help provide for them in this unfathomable time of need, a page has been set up for donations. These donations can help offset the financial stress of injuries sustained to both Saheem and Audri. Further, they will also help in supporting Audri’s future.

Thank you so much for your giving spirit as we all try to embrace Saheem and Audri in love and support.
