Maryland: school bus driver Pam Willie busted for DUI on way to pick up kids for field trip; sweet deals by Baltimore States Attorney kept on the road

Troopers found Willie was the driver and only occupant on the bus. They immediately observed indications the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation led to her arrest for DUI. Troopers found four empty, full and partially full containers of beer and liquor on the bus.

South Carolina: Richland County Dep. Allison Ricard charged with DUI

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Ricard, a Richland County Sheriff’s Deputy was suspended immediately without pay until further notice. The Sheriff added that Ricard was off duty and in her personal vehicle at the time of this incident. Ricard was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Texas: San Antonio FD medic Erich Wolf suspended after 3rd DWI

SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio Fire Department paramedic is serving a 90-day suspension following a string of drunk driving arrests last year.

Erich Wolf, a paramedic assigned to Fire Station 9 on San Antonio’s east side, had already been flagged by SAFD supervisors for tardiness when he was arrested for DWI in Austin on August 15.

Maryland: DUI driver David Rodriquez charged with mowing down and killing Vanessa Dixon at bus stop

The X-Terra then struck a black 1999 Buick Park Avenue parked on the street and continued on, striking a 2010 gold Ford Fusion in a driveway. The adult male driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges will be determined pending the outcome of the investigation.

The victim has been identified as Vanessa Dixon, age 49, of Ingraham St in Washington D.C. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as David Rodriguez, age 22, of Cannon Road in Silver Spring.
