HINGHAM —Two women are recovering in the hospital after an alleged drunken driver rammed head on into their car Sunday night, pushing it backward nearly 50 feet before coming to a rest on Main Street.
Karen B. Fontana, 59, of Hingham and her passenger, Dorothy J. Doyle, 60, of Brockton, were both listed in fair condition at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on Monday night. Fontana was initially listed in critical condition, according to police.
