FITCHBURG — A Lunenburg man faces several charges, including drunken driving and motor vehicle homicide, in connection with the death of one of his passengers yesterday in a crash on Pearl Street.
Sean E. Hastings, 25, of 425 Burrage St., Lunenburg, was arraigned in Fitchburg District Court today and ordered held on $25,000 bail, according to court records.
Joseph Boyle, 48, of Lunenburg, was a passenger in a 1991 Honda Accord driven by Mr. Hastings about 4 p.m. in the 300 block of Pearl Street, according to police. Mr. Boyle died as a result of injuries he suffered in the crash. Sgt. Glenn Fossa said police are also investigating the possibility that another passenger in the car fled on foot after the crash. …..MORE
