The case of a Bronx prosecutor arrested for DWI took another strange turn yesterday when officials said many of her colleagues will be called to testify – including her lawyer’s daughter.
Jennifer Troiano, 34, was busted Aug. 26 after getting into a three-car wreck on the Major Deegan Expressway following a party with other Bronx prosecutors.
“We plan to call her colleagues, many of whom were with the defendant on the night of the party,” said Assistant District Attorney Erin LaFarge, a special prosecutor brought in from Manhattan to try the case.
The investigation into Troiano’s arrest revealed she had twice skirted trouble behind the wheel. One of the incidents ended with a DWI charge being voided after a 2009 Christmas party – also with Bronx prosecutors. ….MORE
