Oregon: Portland Police arrest driver for DUI after wrong-way crash on interstate; she was FOUR times the legal limit!

According to Portland Police, on Sunday June 3, 2012, at 2:04 a.m., Portland Police officers assigned to North Precinct responded to the report of a head-on traffic crash on westbound I-84, just East of the Lloyd Boulevard exit.
Officers arrived and learned that a black 2002 Nissan Maxima 4-door had been travelling East in the westbound lanes of I-84 and crashed head-on with a black 2001 Ford Focus. The driver of the Ford told officers that he saw the Nissan coming at him the wrong direction and moved lanes to avoid a collision but the Nissan moved also and they crashed head-on, causing both vehicles airbags to deploy.
Both drivers were transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers noticed signs of intoxication on the driver of the Nissan, 29-year-old Olelia Lorraine Brown of Southeast Portland.
At the hospital, a test of Brown’s blood showed a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .294%, nearly 4 times the legal limit.
Brown remained in the hospital for treatment and was given citations for DUII and Reckless Driving.
