Cheyenne, Wyoming – Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) inspections are conducted at the headquarters of the Wyoming Highway Patrol in Cheyenne on a daily basis. On Tuesday, July 15th, 58 year old Daniel K. Adamson of Wheatland, Wyoming traveled to Cheyenne for one such VIN inspection. Upon his arrival and request for an inspection at WHP headquarters, troopers smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Mr. Adamson. An impaired driving investigation began and Mr. Adamson was placed under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol would like to remind everyone of our agency’s “zero tolerance” stance on impaired driving and that you will be arrested and go to jail if you chose to drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Even if you come to us.
