11/23/2014 — According to Utica Police on Nov. 22, 2014 at around 5:00 p.m. UPD officers were called to the Pitcher St station of the U.S. Postal service for an accident. Officer spoke with a Postal Employee who was concerned about one of the employees ability to drive.

Officer learned that an employee was pulling her postal truck into a parking space when she hit another postal truck. After the accident, the employee was falling down and reportedly smelled of alcohol. Officers conducted an investigation, and during that investigation learned that the driver had a BAC of .25 %. She was charged with the following:

Arrested: Samantha Reile (42) Welshbush Rd Frankfort NY

Charges: 2 counts of DWI-misdemeanor
Aggravated DWI-misdemeanor

 

Jordan Doxtader DWI in Utica NY 112314

Utica Police report that on Nov. 22, 2014 at around 2:10 a.m. UPD Officer Detraglia was on DWI patrol when he observed a vehicle passing several cars on Lafayette St at a high rate of speed. Lafayette St is a no passing zone. He stopped the vehicle and during his investigation became concerned about the driver’s ability to operate a vehicle safely.

He conducted an investigation into his sobriety, and during that investigation found that the driver had a BAC of .16%. He was charged with the following:

Charges: 2 counts of DWI- misdemeanor
