PALMDALE — The 29-year-old driver of a Toyota vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a crash on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway that killed his passenger, in an unincorporated area between Lancaster and Palmdale, a California Highway Patrol officer said today.

The crash occurred at 9:17 p.m. Saturday on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway west of the Avenue N offramp, according to the investigating officer, who did not give their full name.
