07/01/2014 — California Highway Patrol is seeking individuals who witnessed a fatal DUI crash Saturday on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Towne Avenue, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Ryan Munoz, 37, of Alhambra, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing great bodily harm or death, after he hit a car that killed a male passenger, officials said.
“We’re still looking for the public’s help,” CHP Officer Rodrigo Jimenez said. “We really want to speak with a woman who spoke with Munoz on the right shoulder.”
Munoz was speeding in his Chevrolet pickup truck around 1:33 a.m. when he rear-ended a Dodge pickup truck carrying two men.
