Colorado: Nanette LaFleur’s deal netted her four years in juvenile slammer, now she walks free; Samara Stricklen is still dead due to LaFluer’s decision to drive drunk

– A woman who killed a teenager and injured another in a drunk driving crash in Lakewood five years ago is free after spending several years in a juvenile detention facility.
Nanette LaFleur pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and vehicular assault in a drunk driving collision which killed Samara Stricklen and seriously injured Seth Mutschler. Stricklen was 17 at the time.
Police say LaFleur crossed the center line of a street in Lakewood in March 2007 and crashed into the other car. Her plea deal allowed her to serve four years in youth offender services even though she entered her guilty plea as an adult. ….MORE
