LONGMONT, Colo. – A Boulder woman is learning how to cope with the loss of her husband, who was killed in a drunk driving accident last month. “It was actually quite a loss, not only as a son, a father, a husband and a brother,” said Brandy Nielsen who lost her husband on June 25. “I haven’t known anybody with a bigger heart than him.” All of that changed exactly one month ago when police say Lisa Norton, a convicted drunk driver, got drunk and slammed into a car her husband Gabe was driving in Longmont.
