HONOKAA, BIG ISLAND — Hawaii County Police have identified two women killed in a car accident last night and the man accused of running their van off the road also appeared in court today.
The suspect is 30-year-old Alfred Berdon III and he has a history of violence and bad driving.
Alfred Berdon III appeared in court wearing shackles around his wrists and ankles.  He is facing two counts of negligent homicide, four counts of negligent injury, and DUI all while he had a suspended license and no insurance.
