The 23-year-old Skokie woman involved in a three-vehicle crash Monday that killed an 8-year-old boy on his bicycle has been charged with DUI.
Hanin Goma was charged with one count of aggravated DUI resulting in death and one count of driving under the influence of drugs, police said.
She was ordered held in lieu of $250,000 bail during a bond hearing Wednesday morning at the Skokie courthouse, Skokie police said.
The crash happened at 4:24 p.m. Monday when Goma’s car, traveling south on Saint Louis Avenue in Skokie, tried to turn left on Main Street and hit an eastbound vehicle, Skokie police said.
