ST. JOHN — A father driving drunk flipped his pickup truck late Friday, killing his 3-year-old daughter and injuring his 4-year-old son, State Police said.
A 1995 Ford F250, driven by 25-year-old Kevin Vicknair, was headed north on La. 308 between Caldwell Plant Road and La. 304 outside Thibodaux about 9:30 p.m. when it ran off the road and into a ditch, authorities said. Vicknair drove out of the ditch, spun and flipped at least once, police said. The pickup landed on its driver’s side in the southbound lane.
