Louisiana: New Orleans charged with DUI and leaving scene of crash

A New Orleans police officer booked early Friday with leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated had nearly double the blood-alcohol content at which a person is considered drunk under state law, according to the police report.
After failing several field sobriety tests, Keyalah Bell, 31, registered a blood-alcohol level of 0.153 in a breath test, the report says.
Under Louisiana law, a driver is considered drunk at 0.08 or above. …MORE
