Warren — A Flint man has been charged in the hit-and-run death of another man on Monday.
Kittisak Clayphotong, 47, has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident, resulting in death, said Warren Police Commissioner Jere Green. Both charges are 15-year felonies.
Clayphotong was arraigned on the charges in 37th District Court in Warren on Wednesday. A judge set his bond at $20,000 for each charge, Green said.
Police say Clayphotong struck and killed 51-year-old Andrew Macielak, 51, of Warren, with his car about 9 p.m. on Monday.  ….MORE
