SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After a dicey pursuit and slamming into a gas station sign early Sunday morning, a drunk driver is behind bars, according to the
Springfield Police Department.

According to the commander’s summary, an officer noticed a gray Diamante failing to maintain a single lane and traveling the wrong direction on Campbell.  The officer tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver failed to yield and attempted to flee.
