Port Authority police made three DWI arrests last night at a checkpoint set up at the Jersey City entrance of the Holland Tunnel as part of an effort to improve road safety during the holiday weekend, officials say.
Maurice Waters, 49, of Manhattan; Anthony Duma, 31, of Jamesburg; and Jose Soto, 35, of Irving, Texas; were charged with DWI, Port Authority spokesman Al DellaFave says.
DellaFave added that Soto had a blood alcohol level of .15 percent and was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. ….MORE
