Canandaigua, N.Y. — Fewer drunk drivers are making it home these days — local law enforcement charged more drunk drivers in 2010 than the previous year, according to results from Ontario County’s STOP-DWI annual report.
Dru Malavase, STOP-DWI coordinator, said that there’s some surprising and revealing statistics in the new report, some of which are due to societal changes, others due to law enforcement adaptations.
