NORTH AMITYVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Police in Suffolk County arrested a man for DWI after he allegedly struck two pedestrians in North Amityville early Monday morning.
Authorities said Richard Hughes, 49, was driving a 2002 Lincoln Continental southbound on Route 110 around 5:56 a.m. Police said his vehicle struck two pedestrians near Ritter Avenue.
