New York: State Police snag boozers leaving Phish Concert in DRAGNET

A New York State Police saturation patrol near Darien Lake Theme Park resulted in DWI charges against five people Wednesday.
The arrests came before, during and after a Phish concert that drew about 20,000 people to Darien Wednesday.
Charged were:
— Brian K. Mullen, 35, of Ulster, Pa. He was stopped at 6:10 p.m. for driving on the shoulder of Route 77. He was charged with DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and open container. He was arraigned in Town Court and committed to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
— Christine L. Guiher, 39, of Tonawanda, was charged with DWI after she was stopped about 10:30 p.m. on Sumner Road because her muffler was dragging on the road. She is to appear at a later date in Town Court.  ….MORE
