A woman caused quite a commotion when she ran off the road on Piney Grove  Road striking a barn and strewing its contents into a yard, before hitting a  tree head on at 7:40 p.m. Monday.
Sharon William Alberty, 46, of Turner Mountain Road, Mount Airy, was driving  a 2002 Ford Taurus when she ran off the road in Arthur Johnson’s front yard  taking out his mailbox, newspaper box and brick columns, which were found near  the barn, according to Trooper Brent Jones of the North Carolina Highway  Patrol…..MORE
