North Carolina: Kaitlyn Dawn Combs killed in crash; Phillip Eisenman IV charged with DWI

Welcome, NC — Three people are in the hospital with injuries from a head-on collision Sunday evening in Davidson County. One of those injured was the driver, who is facing DWI charges.
According to Trooper Varney with highway patrol, a driver was traveling along Bethesda Welcome Road near Hinkle road when another car pulled in front of them. The two cars collided head-on, killing a 14-year-old girl.
Trooper Varney said 22-year-old Phillip Eisenman was turning onto Bethesda Welcome from Hinkle Rd. when he pulled out in front of the car containing the teenager and two other people.
