Texas: Alberto Coronado charged in fatal wreck that killed five, had pending DWI charges

MONTANA VISTA – The man arrested in a crash that killed five people, including two children, on Sundayhas a pending arraignment hearing for a 2011 DWI.
Alberto Coronado, 23, was arrested Sunday afternoon after he allegedly sped past a stop sign in a white Ford F-250and crashed into a tan Chevy Impala at the corner of Santiesteban Lane and John Henry Street in Montana Vista.
The collision killed the Impala’s five passengers, including two children.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office identified the three adults as Humberto Ignacio Alferez, 63; Aurora Sombra, 52; and Jassmine Alferez, 18.
There was also an 11-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl killed in the crash.
On Sunday, family members told the El Paso Times that the boy was DeMarco Morales and the girl was Brenda Morales.   ….MORE
