UNIVERSITY PARK – Bradley Barton, the 41-year-old son of U.S. Rep. Joe Barton, and a former candidate for Congress himself, faces a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under age 15 after being arrested in a school zone on Thursday, police said.
The incident happened outside Highland Park Middle School and McCulloch Intermediate School in the 3500 block of Granada Avenue at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The DARE police officer on campus made the arrest, according to the police report, as Barton drove a 2011 Black Infiniti QX5.  …..MORE
