CORPUS CHRISTI — A 29-year-old man asked Corpus Christi police to take him to jail after he crashed his 2007 Mercedes into a house in the 4300 block of Aaron Drive Sunday night.  A witness told police about 7:30 p.m. the Mercedes was speeding and the driver lost control, striking the side of the vacant house.
