From KTUU ANCHORAGE – 06/14/2014 —Alaska State Troopers have identified a Healy man arrested in the Thursday morning hit-and-run crash that left a local woman bicycling to work dead. According to an afternoon statement from AST spokesperson Beth Ipsen, at about 10 a.m. troopers found a 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 with front-end damage parked at a residence. Debris from the scene of the crash that killed 56-year-old Gitte Stryhn, whose body was found just before 7 a.m. in a ditch off Coal Street near Healy Spur Road, matched the truck. “The owner of the truck, Dustin Dollarhide, 30, of Healy was then contacted for questioning in connection with the incident,” Ipsen wrote. “After consulting with the Fairbanks District Attorney’s Office, Dollarhide was arrested (and) will be remanded to Fairbanks Correctional Center on charges of manslaughter, failure to report an accident, and DUI.” In an email to Channel 2, Ipsen says several factors were involved in troopers finding Dollarhide’s truck.
