GOODYEAR, Ariz. – One person is dead and two more are in the hospital after an overnight car crash in Goodyear and investigators believe alcohol and speed might be to blame.
It happened at about 12:30 a.m. Monday where Bullard Avenue dead-ends at Vineyard Avenue (143rd Avenue).
According to Officer Darryl Rivers of the Goodyear Police Department, the four-door sedan carrying the trio, all younger than 21 and believed to be students from out of state, was speeding southbound on Bullard Avenue when it blew through a stop sign at Vineyard Avenue.
