From San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department:
Last night just before midnight on Oct. 4, 2019, two of our deputies were struck by a wrong-way driver as they were driving southbound I-5 near French Camp Rd. exit. Our deputies’ vehicle, was pushed off the highway and found on the west embankment.
Thankfully, a Stockton Police Department Patrol unit was close behind. The two officers stopped to render aid and were met by a combative suspect who was attempting to flee the scene. The suspect was taken into custody. Both deputies were transported to a local hospital and later released.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash and began an investigation regarding the impaired driver.
Adan Medina-Torres (23 years old) was booked in the San Joaquin County Jail by CHP for felony DUI, assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting arrest charges.
Say hello to Bozo! He fought the Sheriff and the Sheriff (and Stockton PD and CHP) won!

This coward tried to flee the scene of the crash after he hit police cruiser while driving the wrong way.
