CALIFORNIA: Hector Hermosillo took his half out of the median; charged with DUI

Riverside County Sheriff Sergeant Jose Tijerina On Sunday, October 6, 2019, at 3:01 AM, Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff Department, located a single-vehicle traffic collision at the 31-700 block of Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.

Police say it was determined the driver, Hector Hermosillo, 33 years of Cathedral City, was traveling southbound Bob Hope Drive when he veered off the road and collided into a raised center median.

Hermosillo did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision. During the investigation, it was determined that Hermosillo showed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Hermosillo was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Hermosillo was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. Once treated, he was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
