Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reports that a driver was arrested for DUI after a wreck.

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at 1:20 p.m., La Quinta police officers responded to Avenida Bermudas and Avenue 52 regarding a non-injury traffic collision.

Officers arrived and learned a tan Jaguar sedan had collided with a black Honda Odyssey mini-van.  No one was injured, but alcohol/ drugs was a factor in the collision.

The driver of the Jaguar, Natalie Prystay, age 55 of Palm Desert, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.  Prystay was examined by medical staff at a local hospital before she was booked into the county jail in the city of Indio.

The La Quinta Police Department encourages all drivers not to drink and drive. To report drunk drivers, please call 911.
