California: Rachel Roisum charged with DUI after wrecking her Lexus

PALM DESERT  2013-09-11 —According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, on  Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 5:20 PM, Palm Desert Police officers responded  to a traffic collision involving three vehicles in the area of Washington  St. and Calle Las Brisas. The investigation revealed a 2002 silver Lexus was traveling  southbound on Washington Street when it collided with a stopped 2008 black  Honda, which then collided with a stopped 1997 silver Chevrolet.

The  driver of the 2002 silver Lexus was determined to be Rachel Roisum, age 27 of  La Quinta. Rachel Roisum was arrested for suspicion of DUI and booked into the  jail located in the city of Indio.

No  injuries were sustained by any of the involved parties and it is believed that alcohol consumption  was a factor in this collision.
