LAKE WORTH — A suburban Boynton Beach man is facing DUI manslaughter charges following an August wreck west of Lake Worth that killed a suburban Lake Worth man.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office on Monday arrested Clinton East, 44, without incident, three months to the day after the wreck in which Richard Reyes, 38, died at Melaleuca Lane and Mathis Road in suburban Lake Worth.
East also faces charges of DUI property damage and DUI injury, the sheriff’s office said. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and is expected to make his first appearance before a judge Tuesday morning.
According to a sheriff’s report made public Monday, East was driving westbound in a 2008 Volvo Xc90 and Reyes eastbound in a 2005 Nissan Murano on Melaleuca Lane just after 4:45 p.m. Aug. 23.  ..…MORE
