Jordan Lee Fuss DUI manslaughter killed boy Broward Co So FL 031115
Davie Police report the arrest of Jordan Fuss on charges of DUI manslaughter for the following incident described in their official report:
On Friday night, 03 October 2014, at 11:59pm., the driver of vehicle 1, Jordan L. Fuss DOB:12/01/1994, was operating his 2004 Infinity G35, black four door, westbound on Stirling Rd at the intersection of Davie Rd in the Town of Davie, Broward County, Florida. While operating his vehicle, witnesses observed the vehicle traveling at a speed two times the posted speed limit of 45mph.
The speed of vehicle 1 was calculated using a video recorded from ATS red light camera.
A speed range of 92mph to 108mph was calculated by Don Felicella, Traffic video, changing lanes multiple times, failing to reduce speed upon entering an intersection, and then crashed into the right side of vehicle 2. The impact caused vehicle 2 to split in half and causing the death of the center rear passenger of vehicle 2, Santiago Mondragon, a six year old
white male. The driver of vehicle 1, Jordan L. Fuss, was observed by witness Sonya Dozier, seated in the driver`s seat of vehicle 1 right after the vehicle came to final rest. Officer T. Holste observed Jordan L. Fuss to be intoxicated while he was with Fuss at Memorial Hospital East. A Search Warrant was obtained for the blood of Jordan L. Fuss DOB: 12/01/1994 which was drawn for medical purposes by Memorial Hospital East RN Katie Back. The Final Toxicology report from Broward
County Medical Examiners and Trauma Services of this blood revealed a positive result for Ethanol with a concentration level of 0.21g/dL.
Based on the evidence and witness statements, Jordan L. Fuss was operating his 2004 Infinity G35 on Stirling Rd at the intersection of Davie Rd in the Town of Davie, Broward County, Florida under the influence of an alcoholic beverage over the legal limit of 0.08g/dL. As a result of his operation of the vehicle in a willful and wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property, and while being under the influence of Ethanol almost three times the legal limit; death; and while being under the influence of Ethanol almost three times the legal limit caused the death of Santiago Mondragon and the serious bodily injuries to his passenger Troy Bruett.
