PALM HARBOR — A Clearwater man is accused of driving under the influence after rear-ending a Pinellas County deputy’s cruiser on U.S. 19 on Tuesday afternoon.
Michael Patrick Scivally, 40, faces charges of DUI, DUI with personal injury, DUI with property damage and felony possession of a controlled substance. He was being held early Wednesday at the Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $3,500 bail.
Deputies said Scivally struck 28-year-old Deputy Brian Williams’ cruiser. Williams, a five-year veteran, was not seriously injured. ….MORE
